Showtime

Anticipating bad chemistry between De Niro and Murphy, I was quickly won over. While De Niro has more than proved himself as a comedic actor over the years with "Midnight Run", "Meet the Parents", and "Analyze This", Murphy on the other hand, having left a trail of stink bombs since "Beverly Hills Cop II", still manages to show his great sense on comedic timing. The duo are forced to work together as cops in a real TV setting. As two opposites, they fit perfectly together.

Lots of great talent in this picture including sexy Rene Russo playing a TV producer, William Shatner plays an over the hill director and newcomer Pedro Damian plays a cunning Latino villain. With mild violence, a pinch of profanity and a fair amount of laughs, I think De Niro and Murphy fans will enjoy this movie.
