For a first time venture in the world of animation, 20th century Fox has definitely hit one out of the park. "Ice Age" is a delightful prehistoric road trip movie filled with memorable characters. An unusual group is formed between various mammals with a common goal. This film dares to take storytelling risks unlike most Disney films.

The humor is fun and original. This is most likely due to the great cast of voice talent. With John Leguizamo playing a wacky sloth, Ray Ramano a warm but powerful mammoth, and Denis Leary as a sly sabertooth tiger, the comedic chemistry explodes on the screen. This is a must see for all ages.
