Dragonfly

Dragonfly was lame, boring and too long even though it only ran for 1h 46 minutes. Let me tell you, it moved like molasses. What was Kevin Costner thinking? Has he lost his ability to choose a good script? Can someone help him? While, like Tim, I enjoy spiritual movies with a sentimental message, this movie left me cold and even worse, bored. The acting was thin, even Kathy Bates, who I adore (no more frumpy lesbian roles for you Missy!) seemed a little lost. I was more concerned about the damned parrot than any of the illness inflicted kids. This movie also had a twist I did not anticipate even though it seems pretty obvious afterwards. But, let’s face it. An unexpected twist does not a movie make! Yawn, go read Conversations with God instead, at least its more entertaining.
